55% of riders overpay with traditional motorcycle insurance by paying a fixed rate, even for the times they don’t ride their bikes.
With VOOM, you pay only as you ride. Maximum flexibility, maximum fun. Riders save up to 60% from their previous insurer.
VOOM motorcycle insurance program offers three different types of policy packages:
Rider’s Essentials - The standard coverages needed for your everyday ride, with liability coverage for bodily injury, 3rd party property and uninsured motorist coverage.
Popular - Essential motorcycle protection with higher liability coverages. Collision and comprehensive coverage as well as medical expenses.
Extended - Premium package with higher liability coverage, collision coverage, comprehensive coverage, and medical expenses.
Coverage is subject to the actual policy terms and conditions.
With comprehensive coverage, which can be added to any policy, your motorcycle will be covered for any damages, theft, and other situations that happens when you’re not riding your bike, and even if its in the garage!
We do not use any location or tracking devices to analyze driving behavior.
The number of miles reported is validated by uploading an image of your odometer on a periodic basis.
Sharing your mileage is easy. Once you activate your policy you'll get a text message to your mobile phone with a unique link that will allow you to share a snapshot of your odometer through your mobile phone. Afterwards we will send you a reminder when to share an updated snapshot.
An updated image of your odometer should be shared 3 times a year. Don't worry, we will send you a reminder just in time.
In case no image was shared your coverage will not be affected and you will be charged a default amount. If an image is shared with lower mileage, your future payments will be adjusted accordingly.
At the end of each billing period the card on file will be charged and you will get a billing statement via email. This payment is based on the miles reported during that period, as seen through the odometer reading.
